Asus W5Fe

Asusw5fe_qjgenth A second screen for one's laptop doesn't sound  bad at all. Not if it lets you scan e-mails, access a calendar, check network connections, and monitor downloads without having to open the laptop and drain battery life. The Asus W5Fe, one of the first Newport laptops from Intel, lets you do just that. It has an additional external display built into the top of the lid. Imagine not having to fire up the laptop each time you wish to access flight departure information, movie show times, alerts, play games, movies, images, and MP3s. You can actually do all these while your laptop is switched off, since the second screen is quite self-sufficient. It has its own power switch, a four-way directional pad with a central selector button, and a menu button. The system is provided by PortalPlayer Preface, and known officially as Windows Sideshow - a technology that's Vista-only. PortalPlayer boasts that the external screen can run hundreds of hours without draining your notebook battery.

Laptop hater?

Deniserichards Some people just hate laptops but only famous one can smash one up and walk free. It wasn't even hers, the poor laptop used to belong to a photographer that was doing his job and this little actress took the rage against the machine.

My condolences to the photograper for its lost and a curse to the thoughtless insensitive actress capable of killing inocents circuits.

Drunk Laptop

Woodenlaptop
These wooden laptops are made from former wine cases and they have all of the plastic chassis components removed.

The plastic was replaced with hancrafted wooden pieces from Sicilian wine cases.

Do they smell? I want one of those, but I don't drink so  I probably will get dissy ROFLOL

Caution

Images_4 The authorities have informed  that a nationwide problem is growing at an alarming rate and laptop (and Tablet PC) owners should be aware. It seems that roving bands of laptop thieves are going to restaurants at lunch time where lots of business people eat and opening the trunks of cars with electronic trunk openers and stealing laptops left behind by the owners. I was told the problem is getting much worse, especially now that the holidays are approaching, and authorities are advising against anyone leaving laptops behind in the cars. This is something I see people doing almost every day, and I have been guilty of doing this myself. The electronic trunk openers are generic devices that can open the trunks of many different makes and models of automobiles and they are readily available to would-be thieves. Leaving the laptop in the trunk where it is out of sight is giving owners a false sense of security.

Crazy Laptop

CrazymobaileThis one really deserved a spot on my blog and an applause for all. I am not exactly sure how this actually works, but an extremely creative Japanese guy seems to have created a laptop that looks like something out of the movie "Pi." The design is kinda messy and weird but apparently it is a functioning laptop, with mechanical keys, a wooden space bar, and a stylish Morse key over the trackball. It's even got USB, Ethernet, and all the modern trimmings and has nothing to evny the new ones, well, maybe their looks lol :) keep going this is certanly a one of a kind piece.
