Asus Bamboo-Paneled EcoBook

Asus, who earlier won accolades with their leather-bound notebooks has now designed Asus EcoBook wich features bamboo paneling and is designed to communicate Asus’ eco-friendly message. The bamboo notebook is set for release in 2008.

Cenio’s Limited Edition Artististic Laptops

1_6 These artistic laptops aptly called Arttops from Dutch artist Selwyn Senatori will put some colour into your boring life! The King and Queen design seems inspired from a card game. The funky laptops are available in limited edition of 100 each. And, the spec list includes an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz processor, 1024MB of DDR2 memory and a 120GB hard drive for Kings and all the specs remaining same the Queens laptop comes with just a 100GB drive. Kings retails for £1,452 and Queens for £1,418.

MacPro with new Processing Power?

Lap4Not TRUE.  Apple mistakenly reported that its 8-core processing power notebook is near than ever, with its UK online listing store reportedly listing - “quad-core and 8-core processing power”.However, for now you can only dream about it and search for those tutorials which might help you to replace your duo core with the quad cores chips for the bang... oh well ...

Sailent specs comprises: • Slim design “S” series especially meant for everyday users embraces LCD display of 12.1-inches to 14.1-inches, 12.1-inch S20II with Core 2 Duo processor, Bluetooth, and a built-in 1.3 Megapixel camera. • “L” Series notebooks circumscribe value shoppers that include enlarged LCD display of 14.1-inches to 17-inches with many other common specs of “S” series. • Next, is “G” series(the cute pink one in the picture) model G200 which will surely boost the market and is categorically meant for those who compliment screen tilt comfort upto 360 degrees. • And, finally at last “H” series with H70. The series touts its 7” inch touch screen display with stylus input, 4-in-1 card reader and 1.3 Megapixel built-in camera.

Seagate’s Super-secure Hard Disk

Lap2Seagate Technology LLC has said that its newly built-in encryption technology will be incorporated in the laptops from ASI Computer Technologies. The 2.5 inch Momentus 5400 FDE.2 will come integrated in the ASI’s C8015+ laptop that will cost $2,150. It will feature the 80GB version drive while the 100GB, 120GB and 160GB versions based on a 3Gb-per-second SATA interface and clocked at 5400 RPM will soon be available.

It also comes with integrated Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium featuring the graphical Aero Interface. Obiously I don't have a clue of how much this laptop it's gonna cost but not much WE (can only) HOPE!
