Fujitsu has added some new babies to its Lifebook laptop series. The newly upgraded series are H-Series, E-Series, and S-Series models. Of all the
new notebooks, the H-Series tops all others in terms of pricing and specifications.
The FMV-H8240 model comes with a 15.4-inch WUXGA display, Core 2 Duo CPU, an NVIDIA graphics card, up to 4GB of RAM,
and 60GB hard drive.
The FMV-E8240 also features an unnamed Core 2 Duo processor, WXGA or WSXGA+ 15.4-inch display, a 40GB hard drive, and a maximum of 4GB of
RAM.
The portable FMV-S8340 comes with a 13.3-inch WXGA display, again an unspecified Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM, 40GB hard drive, and
a claimed 5.5 hours of battery life.

Gateway will be releasing its 12.1-inch E-100M business sub-notebook, which will be the among the first to offer Intel’s Core 2 Duo ultra-low voltage processor in an ultra-portable laptop. The new processor integrated will be the new U7600 ULV CPU. Well, the inclusion of the ultra-low voltage Merom processor will add another $75 to the existing E-100M’s price of $1,299.
