Sony Corporation has released their newest series of super portable notebooks, the ultra-thin Sony VAIO G Series laptops. They are a lot
cooler than their predecessors. They are real great machines!
These notebook series are too slim and clever to skip incorporating a 0.2mm thick LCD panel that bestows a picture quality which is seriously
unmatchable in its class
Sony's new VAIO L series is a concept all-in-one PC that marries both form and function that is guaranteed to appeal to a wide range of audience. The merging of a powerful PC complete with a high-end 15.4" LCD display and stylish polycarbonate chassis makes it a must-have device, if only it were real. Embedded within the VAIO L series is a Sound Reality audio chip and a pair of 3W speakers to give you the best on-the-go entertainment experience possible. In terms of hardware specifications, we are looking at a foldable keyboard and touchpad, Intel's Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz processor, a 120GB hard drive, and 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM. When will this be available to the entirely geek laptop fan population? I am not really sure, so you might as well start saving up some money in your piggy bank. IMHO, it looks lost in No Man's Land, stuck between the ephemeral world of a notebook and desktop.
Sony has released a 007 set, with a Vaio TX, a Vaio 007 Micro PC, T50 Cybershot camera and 1.0GB flash drive.
The Vaio TX 007 bundle costs around $3.900, and includes the Vaio TX ultraportable PC with 11.1" screen, the Sony Cybershot T50 007 branded digital camera, privacy screen, aluminum attache case, an exclusive 007 welcome letter and serialized glass photo certificate. Remember to ask your martini shaken, not stirred :)
